Special fitting are parts in pipelines that have a special function, sight glasses are components in pipelines that allow visual inspection of the product in the pipeline, they can be cylindrical in shape, for use in pipelines, or flat - for tank mounting, check valves ensure one-way flow direction in the pipeline and prevent pressure surges in the pipeline.
